The trucks are all yours.
As a Fleet Manager, you'll be in charge of perhaps one of the most important things that a trucking company needs to do business – trucks and trucking equipment. They're yours to manage and maintain. If you're the type of person who can manage several trucks and the logistics that come with them, then this is the position for you.

If you choose to become a Fleet Manager, you'll likely find work at a trucking company with a large fleet. Smaller operations will tend to roll the fleet supervisor duties into another position, such as dispatch or operations management. A Fleet Manager usually works a standard day, although some shift work is possible.
