Welding is considered an apprenticeable trade in some provinces and jurisdictions. To learn more, you can contact your provincial trades and apprenticeship office. You may also want to contact a local employment centre to see if there are any Welder positions being advertised. By reviewing job placement advertisements, you'll better understand the technical and education requirements of a Welder.
