How do I get to be a Maintenance Manager?
The Maintenance Manager is a skilled technician with a solid working knowledge of both commercial vehicle repair and maintenance, and the overall corporate operation.
Effective communication, leadership, organizational, planning and computer skills are required in addition to technical skills in 1 or more vehicle maintenance trades.
In addition to holding a Certificate of Qualification as a Truck and Coach Technician, maintenance managers will benefit from additional management development courses or programs.
